We owe a lot of thanks for last year, as we were so close to seeing the swimmers’ depart from Gosport. We owe the swimmers a massive thanks for their dedication in preparing for the swim and we share your sadness in having to call the event off.

It was cancelled at the very last minute, meaning that the support crews, paddlers, safety crews and radios were all primed, ready and in place. The event would not be able to take place without any of the many people and organisations involved. A huge thanks go to all of you.
